Our Stewardship Ethic

As a Private Membership Association, Guerrilla Grocers upholds the sacred trust of private communication and internal recordkeeping among voluntary members. We are not a public-facing business, do not engage in public commerce, and are not subject to commercial surveillance practices.

Any information shared with us is offered voluntarily, and is used solely for internal communication, stewardship logistics, and the protection of our member community.

What We May Collect

If you voluntarily share information through:

  • A membership application

  • A contribution or offering request

  • A private order form or fulfillment request

  • A member communication (email, chat, form, etc.)

We may securely retain:

  • Name, email, address (for delivery)

  • Order fulfillment details

  • Phone number (for coordination)

  • Member preferences or feedback

This information is used strictly for internal use to facilitate voluntary offerings, update you on member events, or improve the experience for our private members.

What We Never Do

We do not:

  • Sell, rent, share, or disclose your information to third parties

  • Track your activity across other websites

  • Use third-party ad tracking pixels or cookies for behavior analysis

  • Comply with demands from agencies that lack jurisdiction over the private domain

Technical Tools

Our member platform (currently hosted on Shopify and associated systems) may use basic, privacy-respecting cookies to remember your preferences or allow secure access to private offerings. These tools are used only to improve your experience — never for analytics, surveillance, or marketing.

Children’s Data

This Association is intended for adult members and their families under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If we become aware that such information has been submitted, we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

As a member of this Association, you have the right to:

  • View or request removal of your member record

  • Request correction of any inaccurate data

  • Withdraw your membership and have all data deleted

  • Revoke any past consent regarding contact preferences
